It's day two and you find yourself heading up into South Australia's wine producing region and tourist mecca, the Barossa Valley
Originally settled by German Lutheran farmers in the 1830's who not only planted grape vines but also brought with them their wine making knowledge and unique and rich culture.
The region is now asserting its importance to the wine industry and it's inestimable value of its storehouse of century-old vines and historic wineries.
The Barossa Valley is one of the most famous wine regions of South Australia and, indeed, Australia.
Find yourself there in September 2011 when you embark on Part 4 of our South East Circle Tour - The Island Coast. More information can be found by going here.
