Such along time ago - ninety-six years for those of us who count. No-one from that era is left. We mere mortals only live so long.
The photos, the diaries, the published interviews, the grainy low resolution silent films. They still remain.
Lone Pine, The Nek, Suvla Bay and Anzac Cove. Places significantly historic and historically significant.
What happened at Gallipoli on the fateful day and the days that followed matter. It mattered very much to those who served there. It still matters today.
